WHAT IS STRINGS?
Strings is an ongoing web serial drama told in nonlinear, short-form (15-30 min) pulp audio stories.
It began with the episode “MEMORY GAMES,” and continued under that name before formally adopting the name STRINGS.
STRINGS currently has 8 episodes.
What are “The Arcs”?
The Tombanter library has grown in plot and character development over time. All of the Audios started to be interconnected the others. Because there is an overlying story encompassing certain characters, throughlines, plots, and themes—official “Arcs” were developed to help people navigate through the stories. No there is no pressure to listen to it all in the “right way” and understand it. Just pick an arc you like and start listening!

THOMAS BANTER JR
First introduced as the young southern gentleman sweetheart of Laura Wellington and heir to the Banter Fortune who leaves Grand Willow following the disappearance of Laura on a strange quest of his own.
AGENT LAURA WELLINGTON
Daughter of physicist and particle researcher Dr. Simon Wellington, Laura is a headstrong girl who grows to become a formidable officer in the world of intelligence as she seeks to uncover the secrets of her father.
AGENT BARNES THOMAS
Agent Thomas joined the secret clandestine organization known currently only as “The Company,” for reasons yet unrevealed. He was longtime friends with Agent Hunter and a former love interest of Laura Wellington, before recruiting Mantis and falling in love with her.
AGENT HUNTER CHASE
Best friends and partners with Barnes, Agent Hunter works cover as the Banter family attorney, but moonlights as a mercenary. It is he who first makes contact with “The Company” and recruits Barnes (and subsequently Laura) to join him.
ALICIA ALISTAIR
Working for Them, Alicia watches as her former lover is destroyed by her organization. Promised he would be spared after fleeing and starting a family, Alicia begins a campaign of bloodshed as infamous assassin when They betray her and her beloved by murdering him and his family. She goes on a rampage making a name for herself as The Lynx, until Barnes recruits her into The Company. Learning to redirect her anger and love again, she starts her new life as a Company operative as Stargazer.
DONNIE HORZCEK
Born into privilege amongst old European royalty, Daniel Horzcek is raised in the United States where he receives an impeccable education. Perpetually sleepy through life, he excelled in cipher systems analysis and cryptology and predictive logistics and game theory. Proficient in Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he is poached by The Company when he applies for operations work at the CIA.
AGENT EVERSON BURKHARDT
Part-time partner of Barnes who meets with Mantis for the first time in Bavaria trying to acquire intel on the Wellington-Grace. He also has a brief affair with his soon to be cousin in law, Tom. He is last known to have died in Bavaria.
UNKNOWN MALE (Authenticity)
An art forger living in a commune for vagrant creatives. He becomes embroiled in a plan to forge artwork from the Gallery of Western Art but has issues with his business partner.
