ARTIST STATEMENT: This piece was intended as a way to hypothetically respond to crushing forces exerting control over my life, and also subverting expectations of reprisal when one's pattern of behavior is broken by disruptive sources directly resulting from their exploits, how to harmonize with them, what reactions of compliance feel like, and if compliance always means giving up or if it can be mutual, and what lessons do we learn when acting as free agents in the future?
